Our Mission

Columbus Pet Rescue (C.P.R.) is an all-volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 education/legislation/rescue organization established to rescue, spay/neuter, and care for feral, stray, neglected, and abused cats and dogs. We rehabilitate and socialize some of these animals in order to find them forever homes. Through community education and tireless rescue efforts, we provide a safe place to surrender unwanted pets and help reduce the number of pets in Columbus area shelters. C.P.R. covers medical care and the necessary expenses of providing a foster home for these homeless cats and dogs. Any donations you make will be tax deductible to the full extent of the tax laws.
We Help All Animals
As a pet rescue, our mission is to care for all animals in need of help. This includes animals that are unfit for adoption, for whom we continue to provide food, shelter, and medical care to prevent the spreading of disease and overpopulation. Throughout Columbus our volunteers have stumbled upon various colonies of feral cats living in unsafe environments with scant food, rampant disease, and uncontrolled breeding. We care for several colonies of feral cats, all of which have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and ticks, tested for disease, and vaccinated.
