Fostering can be a fun and rewarding experience. Columbus Pet Rescue will provide all the needed food, litter, toys, supplies, and medical care your foster pets may need. You, as their caretaker, provide the socialization, love, and transportation to and from veterinary appointments and adoption events. You also play a huge role in promoting your kitties for adoption through social media pictures and video.
Time commitments vary based on the age of the pet, what medical care needs to be done, and how friendly and adoptable the kitty or kitties are. |
Bottle BabiesThese little orphans need 24/7 care, feeding every 2-3 hours, cleaning and stimulating bathroom behavior, keeping warm, and weighing to plot growth. We are looking for experienced bottle baby fosters.

Nursing Moms with KittensThese groups need a little more TLC to ensure mom is healthy and the kittens are nursing and growing. The foster commitment is longer since kittens will not be eligible for adoption until they are 12-13 weeks.

Cats and kittens
Weaned kittens or adult cats are a little easier to handle. They eat and play and pounce and purr.
